Making Money

for Breeding Farm

How to increase your reserve

  1. Get money from your job
Make sure you take care of at least one horse each day so that you get paid for your job.
Take your riding level tests as soon as you can so that you can get better, higher paying jobs as soon as possible.
Keep in mind when your next test is going to be so that you don't lock yourself into a job contract at a lower paying job much past the time of your next test.

  2. Make lessons with your horses
Once your horse(s) are old enough, have them to 2 lessons each day.
Not only does it bring in money, it earns skills for the horse above what it can earn from its GP.
Be selective when choosing an EC to make sure that it meets all of your needs, including having a relatively high lesson price.

  3. Sell things to the Market
Sell your dung, extra apples and turnips that you don't need.

  4. Enter your horses in competitions
They will earn money from these even if they don't come in first place.
They will also earn skills from them.

  5. Make covering offers with your stallions
You are more likely to have these offers accepted after you have spent some time training your stallion and getting him into the positive BLUP range.
Advertise in the reproduction forum for mares that would like to use him, that way you can make a reserve covering offer that you know will be accepted and not waste energy just putting out public ones.

  6. Sell horses
Again, to earn the most, you want to breed high GP, high BLUP horses so that you have a quality foal to put up for sale.
This takes time but it is well worth the effort.

  7. Stroke 5 Xanthos every day
You can win 1000 equus + a Horn of Plenty, if you are lucky.
